miba designs

I am not currently looking to make any financial profit from web design. To enable myself to build up a portfolio, I am willing to offer my services for free to individuals and small businesses. All I ask in return is that I am allowed to use your site in my portfolio and if possible, you write a small testimonial of my work.

What You Will Get

I am ambitious, hard-working, reliable, enthusiastic and also a bit of a perfectionist. Using my in depth knowledge of HTML/XHTML and CSS, I will design, create and code a bespoke website from scratch to your specifications. I will focus on ease of use, complying to web standards, accessibility and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). As a perfectionist, I find the little details can make a big difference, so I will also focus on getting them right.

Although I currently do not have any formal qualifications or past employment in web design, 3 years of hard work and research has given me the skills to create an extremely competent website.

Once I have finished a site which you are happy with, I can offer help with registering a domain name, finding a suitable host and submitting the site to search engines. If desired, I can also design a favicon for the site, which might not sound like much, but as I said before, the little details can make a big difference.

At the moment, as this is more of a hobby than a job for me, there may be times when I cannot commit myself 100% to a project, or when I cannot meet the level of web design required. In which case, I will let you know as soon as I can, offer my apologies and suggest using a dedicated web design company.

Interested?

If you interested in taking advantage of this offer, then you can contact me, letting me know what sort of thing you are looking for. Whether you want me to create a completely new site or just redesign a current one, you have nothing to lose.

*UPDATE* Due to the fact that I am now working full time as a web designer, I am going to have to cut down on how many free jobs I can do. Feel free to still message me about it, but unless you're very lucky, I will have to say no.
